January 9, 2026
Sankranti, especially Makar Sankranti, signifies the sun’s northward journey (Uttarayan),
Marking the end of winter and the start of longer days, celebrating the harvest, and honoring the sun god Surya for prosperity and life
Promoting spiritual renewal, family unity, and the triumph of light over darkness through traditions like holy dips, kite flying, and sharing sesame-jaggery sweets (tilgul).
On this occasion our staff made Village Hut and with colorful Rangoli sankranthi decoration
Cultural club organized antakshari competition for female staff
Staff and students enjoyed Sankranti house art, use quotes about new beginnings, teamwork, soaring high like kites, sweetness (til-gul), and the warmth of togetherness, blending festival spirit with professional growth, like:
“Let’s soar like kites in our careers this Sankranti, reaching new heights!” or “May this festival bring renewed motivation, fresh goals, and teamwork to help us soar higher’
