MES Celebrated World Telecommunication and Information Society Day
May 17, 2026The IDEA Club at MES observed World Telecommunication and Information Society Day on 17 May by organizing an Online Quiz Competition on the theme “Digital Innovation for Sustainable Development.” Students from various departments participated enthusiastically, testing their knowledge of telecommunications, 5G, the internet, and emerging technologies. The event highlighted the role of telecommunication in bridging the digital divide and supporting a Viksit Bharat. Certificates of Appreciation were presented to the winners and runners-up in recognition of their performance. Additionally, faculty coordinators congratulated the participants and highlighted technology’s role in shaping the future.
