MES Pays Tribute to Gurus on Guru Purnima

Guru Purnima was celebrated at MES on 29th July to honor the invaluable role of teachers in shaping individuals and society. The celebration began with a prayer and lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by an Elocution Competition organized by the Literary Club on the theme “Role of a Guru in Nation Building.” Students from various departments participated with great enthusiasm and delivered inspiring speeches on the values, guidance, and leadership of teachers in contributing to a Viksit Bharat. Certificates were presented to the winners, making the event a meaningful tribute to the enduring guru-shishya tradition. The celebrations concluded with a vote of thanks.
