MES Celebrates World Youth Skills Day 2026
July 17, 2026To mark World Youth Skills Day on 15 July, the Anchors Skill Bee Club and the English Club at MES organized a Case Study Competition, a PowerPoint Presentation Competition, and a seminar on “Entrepreneurship and Startups” delivered by Dr. S. A. Hussain. Proclaimed by the United Nations in 2014, the day highlights the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The 2026 theme, “Youth Skills for Peace and Development,” emphasizes digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving to prepare youth for an AI-driven future. The observance reflects the shared commitment of educational institutions, industries, and governments to develop skills that support employment, innovation, and sustainable development.
