Sankranthi Sambrahalu at MES (Though life may take us on different paths , festivals bring us together)

  • Sankranti, especially Makar Sankranti, signifies the sun’s northward journey (Uttarayan),
  • Marking the end of winter and the start of longer days, celebrating the harvest, and honoring the sun god Surya for prosperity and life
  • Promoting spiritual renewal, family unity, and the triumph of light over darkness through traditions like holy dips, kite flying, and sharing sesame-jaggery sweets (tilgul).
  • On this occasion our staff made Village Hut and with colorful Rangoli sankranthi decoration
  • Cultural club organized antakshari competition for female staff
  • Staff and students enjoyed  Sankranti house art, use quotes about new beginnings, teamwork, soaring high like kites, sweetness (til-gul), and the warmth of togetherness, blending festival spirit with professional growth, like:
  •  “Let’s soar like kites in our careers this Sankranti, reaching new heights!” or “May this festival bring renewed motivation, fresh goals, and teamwork to help us soar higher’
